How Glion works, in its own documents

These are the documents that ship with the product, published as they are written there. They explain what Glion does and why it is shaped that way. Installation and API references come with early access.

  1. What Glion can and cannot do

What Glion is for, what it could and could not do when this was written, and how it compares with the tools people weigh it against.

  2. The first ten minutes

The six setup steps, why they come in that order, and why the wizard cannot report a step done that is not.

  3. Discovery — what the network scan does, and the promises it keeps

What the network scan sends, the ports it never touches, the consent it records before the first packet, and what it stores.

  4. Connecting Glion to your infrastructure

Why connecting is the hard part, how Glion knows which page mints each token, the methods ranked, and what happens to a credential.

Exported from the product at commit 27c7e104662b. On the way, links, phrases and whole sections that point only into the product's private repository were removed, along with internal reference numbers and any heading those removals left empty, and a note marks a page the product has moved past. The rest is the product's own text.
