What glion.app and a Glion subscription collect about you, why, and for how long. In short: the site sets no cookies, Paddle handles payment, and Glion itself sends us nothing.

Who is responsible

Visiting glion.app
The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, has no forms, and loads nothing from anyone else: its fonts, film and images come from glion.app itself.
Server logs. Like any web server, the one that serves glion.app writes an access log: your IP address, the time, the page asked for, the page you came from, and your browser's user agent. It runs on[TO BE DECIDED]. We use the log to keep the site working and to spot abuse, and delete it after[RETENTION PERIOD]. We do not use it to profile anyone.
Analytics. None is running. If we turn it on, it will be self-hosted on our own server, set no cookies, and count visits without identifying you: pages viewed, the page you came from, browser, device type and country. This page will name the tool and what it records before it runs.
Email links. The contact links open your own email program. Nothing is sent until you send it.
Writing to us
When you write to [email protected] or [email protected], we keep your address and what you wrote, to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation, for [RETENTION PERIOD].
Buying a subscription
Paddle is the merchant of record for our orders. It collects and processes your payment details, billing address and tax information as the seller, under Paddle's privacy notice. We never see your card number.
From Paddle we receive what we need to issue and support your licence: [TO BE CONFIRMED AGAINST PADDLE’S WEBHOOK FIELDS]. We keep it while you have a subscription, and afterwards for [RETENTION PERIOD AFTER A SUBSCRIPTION ENDS].
Licence emails. We send your licence key, and messages about your subscription, by email through[TO BE DECIDED], which handles your email address and the message on our behalf and under our instructions.
Glion itself
Glion runs on your infrastructure, and sends nothing to glion.app: no telemetry, no usage data, and no licence check. A Pro licence key, once there is one, will be checked on your deployment, offline.
What your agents, credentials and sessions contain stays in your deployment's own database. We never receive it. A model provider or a service you connect Glion to receives what your agents send it, under your agreement with that provider, not ours.
Why we may use it
- To perform a contract: issuing and supporting a licence you bought.
- A legal obligation: keeping the records that the law requires us to keep.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the site running and safe, and answering people who write to us.
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or share it except as this page describes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to receive a copy, or to object to or restrict how we use it. Write to [email protected], and we answer within a month. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Your data may be handled in countries other than your own, by us, Paddle and [TO BE DECIDED]. Where the law asks for safeguards on such transfers, they are [TO BE DECIDED WITH COUNSEL].
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published here with the date it takes effect. If you have a subscription and the change matters to you, we tell you by email first.
